I went to Gunma to take a hotspring with my family. Gunma is so cold but the landscape is so beautiful.
We went to Isidangai (the town is famous for the stairs of stone) at first. There was a lot of stairs and a temple was located on the summit. I paid a visit the temple with my brother. Then, We went down the stairs and I discovered a bath for foot. I took the bath with my brother, I felt so good. When we arrived a hotel, we are so tired because we walk a lot. We took a rest, and ate supper. I ate a lot of delicious foods. I was so happy because I was full. We took a rest again, and I took a hotspring in the hotel with my mother and grand mother. We talked about a lot of things there. I enjoyed the trip first day with my family.

A Japanese artist exhibition by Kurumi

I visited an exhibition of a Japanese artist with my mother. The artist named Kuniyoshi Utagawa who lived in the Edo period as an artist of ukiyo-e. A musium which held the exhibition was crowded in spite of weekday!
Kuniyoshi left a lot of works. Warriors, pictures of samurai and heroes, were full impact! He drew powerful warriors filling the surface of a picture but also their armor and the background meticulously. And Animals were funny, pretty and humorous. Especially, I liked pictures of cats. Kuniyoshi loved cats too, so he described a lot of kinds of cat's motion in detail. In addition, he drew cats were personified (they dressed in kimono!). We can find a lifestyle in the Edo period from the pictures. Moreover, there were many Kuniyoshi's works, I and my mother noticed that we spent 3 hours there when we finished viewing pictures!
I never got tired of gazing at his works! I and my mother are planning to visit the exhibition again, because some of the items on exhibit are changed. There are too many Kuniyoshi's works to exhibit all them in a musium at once.

If you are interested in ukiyo-e, I recommend to you to visit the exhibition! It's held to 12nd February.
More infomation→http://kuniyoshi.exhn.jp/index.html

↑It's a book of pictures of Kuniyoshi Utagawa.

↑It's wa-sanbon, Japanese sweets are made from Japanese sugar, which we bought the musium as a souvenir. It's shaped cat's face, goldfish, and flowers! They are motifs of Kuniyoshi's works.

My cat's tooth... by Kurumi

Kan-chan is a cat which I have. Some days ago, his tooth fell out.

 It's bigger than I expected!
Kan-chan looked like hard to eat before it fell. So, all the members of my family were worried about him. We tried to pull out his loose tooth, but Kan-chan refused to open his mouth. Not only that, he got angry when someone just tried to touch his mouth! We didn't know what to do.
Then, the tooth fell out of itself. I was relieved when kan-chan ate his fill. Kan-chan has lived with my family for 10 years. So, he is about 10 years old. I have to take care of him heedfully.

↑ Kan-chan is looking his tooth with great interest(*^_^*) Does he feel refreshed for falling out his tooth?
